The person who helped me how to quit drinking alcohol

8 months ago, I had a terrible car accident because of my alcohol drinking. And it woke me up of the reality that alcohol kills. But despite of being alcoholic and my accident, there is one person who has been consistently taking care of me and that is my wife. There was never a moment that I heard her complain about me and our situation. All what she said was that she loved me and that she would do everything for me.
After the accident, I even saw her cry in the hospital. I then told her that I would need her help on how to quit drinking alcohol. She was so happy when I told her that and she told me that she would do anything to help me. After I got out of the hospital, she talked to me about alcoholism and what it does to the body as well as its bad effects. She also told me about the steps that I needed to do in order to stop drinking alcohol.
And yes, every little thing that she was telling me about, I was doing it. I don’t know but it just seemed right doing it. Now, it has been eight months since I drank my last alcohol and never had the urge to drink one again. I didn’t know that being this sober could make me happier. I asked my wife how she did it and she told me about the website about quitting alcohol that she used to help me. I am so thankful that I have a loving wife!
